Miles Halloween!

I love this little mouse! Actually it's the only mouse I like besides Mickey! He's from
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
He was so much fun to color too! I am LOVING my Copics!
The Spicas are awesome too!
I used the Spica pens on the buckle on his hat, the pumpkin's eyes and mouth, on the black border of the image, the words on the banner at the top, and on the little purple circle I punched and put on the orange button. Cute huh?
The haunted house image was stamped in black for the background, then colored with various gray Copics.
This card is being used for the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 47, Orange, Green, and Purple!
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day!!!

Finally, My Halloween Card!

I have been working on this card for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes life gets in the way and other things take priority. Right now it's school for me, and family. My last year, and I can't wait to finish! More time for Stamping!
Anyway, back to the card! I have really been taken with the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Love them! I have some Miles Halloween stamps, and some Annie Rodrigue. You'll be seeing more of them later on ;)
This card started with the SU Elegant Eggplant cardstock. I bought these nifty Prima masks and I had the idea to use this bird mask for a Halloween card. I sponged Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress ink on the Eggplant cardstock for a background. Then the cardstock sat and waited.
When my stamps arrived I had this idea. I colored the image with Copics, and added lines with my Black Sharpie pen for a little wood grain. A little added fun was Martha Stewart Glow in the Dark Glitter! It's a big ol' honkin' jar too! The Glow in the Dark Glitter is around the edges of the Labels 17 Nestabilities die cut. The rest of the die cut was sponged with the black soot ink.
Thanks for stopping by! I really love it when you visit!

Pretty Soft Thank You

This was a fun card to make with a kit from The Girls Loft. This month the kit was full of yummy muted colors. I can't wait to make more. There is lots of glittery things in there ;)
The stamps are from Ippity's Regal Greetings. The card base is Vintage Cream from PTI. Love it! The DP is Fancy Pants Designs. The green is Lagoon from Bazzill. That yummy felt rik rak is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found, as is the gorgeous silver button. There was a string of teal beads included in the kit. I cut some of them apart to make the center of the flower.
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
More yumminess tomorrow!

Etsy Inspired #105

Etsy's shop this week is Handmade Whimsy. So many adorable things to draw inspiration from! I chose these Pink and Copper Poppy Hairpins.

I knew exactly where I wanted to start! I punched the paper circles from the paper packaging we get in all of the goodies we buy. I sprayed them with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist. Yummy! I edged them with the Chocolate Spica glitter pen! Perfect with the Glimmer Mist! The circles are adhered together, a little offset from the previous layer. I glued some beeds to the center of each flower.

After selecting some designer paper from Basic Grey's Bittersweet I chose this sentiment, which I LOVE! Glimmer Mist is painted in the heart with a paintbrush for a little more shimmer!

That long strip across the card has been sprayed with Glimmer Mist too. Why not, right!
Here's the whole card!
Thank you for visiting! I love to have company! Come back anytime!!!

Birthday Desserts!

A very good family friend turned 18 today! I made this card for her birthday celebration. It was pretty simple, quick and easy.
The cardstock is Peach Parfait and Regal Rose from Stampin' Up. The white cardstock is Stamper's Select from PTI. The DP is Alphabet Soup from My Mind's Eye. Love that paper! Of course the stamp is Unity! I used SU markers to ink up the stamp. The shimmer is from Spica Markers from Copic. Love them! I also found a rhinestone for the top of the candle, as well as one for the middle of the bow. The bow is made from crinkle ribbon I bought from Mish! Love it!
I think she'll like it, and she saves all of the cards I make for her! That makes me happy since I'm sure a lot of them find themselves in the trash no matter how cute they are ;)
Thanks for checking in! Have a fabulous day!

Unity Hip Hop Sketch Challenge 23

This card is for the Unity Hip Hop Sketch Challenge #23.
The pics are not great because my camera isn't working. If you know me you know how crazy I'm going right now without it! I had to use my phone. It's just not the same.
The image is stamped on Papertrey Vintage Cream CS. It's colored with Copics. Still working on it ;)
The yummy tree DP is Magpie Orchard by Scrapworks. So cute! That little strip of off white design is the reverse side of the trees. I carried the polka dots from the image to the background and the fabric tape from Love My Tapes. The deep red behind the image is Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' Up! Delicious!
Thanks for checking out my blog! Have a great day!

I used my Copics!!! I love them, but boy is there a learning curve. My friend Deb V helped me learn a bit, and she did the shadow under and to the left of this little guy. His name is Cooper, and you can find him at Paper Pretties! He's on sale now too ;)
The DP I used is On Holiday from The Girls Paperie. I did a gatefold card for a change. I also did some paper pleating on the left. I cut him out with Oval Nesties and sponged the very edge with Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.
Thanks for looking! Thanks for the comments too! I so appreciate them!
Have an awesome weekend!

A Couple of Things, and News of a Giveaway!

I have a couple of random things today.
First of all, I broke down and bought a set of Copics! Eeeeek! I'm so excited! I'm working on using them. Definitely a learning curve! And now that I have about 75 of them I see I need more!
Second, I spent HOURS looking for the perfect storage for them. I want them out in the open and easily accessible. I finally found it!!! It's the Color Cubbie from Studio 3 Solutions! It's so affordable too! It's $16.95 plus shipping. The little shelves angle back a bit so the markers won't fall out. Love that! I have ordered one and I can't wait to get it!
Third, I found a drawing for one of these! Aren't you glad I spend so much time looking for stuff? Go to the wee Memories blog and see how to win one of these awesome Copics Cubbies!
Last, my card in the previous post was the winner for the Unity Sketch Challenge #22! Yay me! I get another Unity set, for free!!!
Thanks for checking in! I plan on creating tonight, so I should have some eye candy for you all tomorrow ;) Have an awesome day!
