Baby Mini for Eli

I saw my nephew Eli for the first time since he was born yesterday! He is adorable! It was the first time I got to hold him too. Oh the memories it brought back! I can't believe my grandson Brayden was ever that small!
I brought this gift along with me :)
So much fun to make and so much fun to give! My sister can slip some of her fav pics of Eli into the book.
The little crown on the front is for their last name. The red heart is covered with Crystal Effects. So shiny!
The papers are all Daisy D's. Love it!
Lots of acrylic paint and ribbons!

Thanks for looking ;)
Have a fantastic day!

Frame for Eli :)

My sister's baby shower is coming next weekend, so I'm getting on the ball to get my new nephew's gifts done. I saw these big 12x12 frames at Michaels and I had to have it for him! The opening is 5x7, so there's room for a nice size picture. I Mod Podged this gorgeous Daisy D's paper on the frame. It truly made me sad when they went out of business :( Lord knows I tried to keep them in business on my own, but I didn't have that kind of money ;) I stenciled the letters of his name in acrylic paint. I Mod Podged over that too. I added the same green paint around the edges. Then I added the BUTTONS! You know I love my buttons!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! And thank you for commenting. I really appreciate it.

ETA: I submitted this for the Moxie Fab Home Decor Challenge. The deadline is tonight, April 21, at midnight!

Baby Girl Card

I love doing girly cards! My daughter's friend is having a little girl. Yay! I would rather do shabby chic than any other card, so this is perfect for me ;)
I knew I had to use this pink rose paper from Daisy D's. I'm so sad they're not around anymore. They had the best papers. I found the green print and the solid pink in the Olivia by Basic Grey paper pad. For a girl you have to have lace and flowers. The white lace is from a package of various white lace trims from Melissa Frances. The frame is from Unity. I cut it out by hand after stamping it. I sponged on some Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I couldn't find a Unity stamp to use for the sentiment, but this SU stamp fits perfectly! The flowers are from the Fairytale Roses in Orchid and French White. They were sprayed with Glimmer Mist in Peppermint Twist and Vintage Pink. So pretty! The button is from The Girls' Paperie Vintage Buttons. Love them!
Thank you for stopping by! I love company ;)
Have a fabulous day!

Stuff for Brayden

I made these things for my Grand son, Brayden. He's only 11 months old, but he'll know someday. When he gets a little older he can put things in the box that little boys like to collect, hopefully nothing living. The letter B is for his wall.
I used Daisy D's paper on both items. I love it! I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper, then a coat over the top to keep it nice.
