Card Patterns 124

You know how I love sketch challenges ;)  Card Patterns has a great one this week, pictured below!
A great combination of Sassafras Lass' Indie Girl, Unity Stamp, and some lace, rose ribbon, and pearls make for a sweet soft card.

The Unity stamp I used is from the March, 2010 Kit of the Month, Rockin' It Unity Style. The sentiment is die cut from a Papertrey Ink die, and sponged around the edge.
I kept the trims soft too. The rosebud ribbon is petite and adorable. The diamonds on the right end are cut from the smallest Nestability in the Labels 3 set. I sponged them while they were still in the die.
I even did the inside! I rarely do that ;)
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your time.
Have a fantastic day!

She

One of my favorite stamps, and I had only used it once before. So much fun to color!
Sorry for the shadow. I took this at night with terrible lighting, but I couldn't wait ;)
My friend Deb has put tiny rhinestones in the hair of the ladies she has colored and it's beautiful, so I tried it.
I used Sketch 122 from Card Patterns for this card.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have an amazing day!

Another Restoration Card

After not using the Restoration paper for a long time I can hardly not use it now.
I used the Card Patterns Sketch 121. It's pictured at the bottom of this post. Also submitting to
The doily was sprayed with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist, then sponged lightly with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink.
The delicious trim is Webster's Pages. Yum!
I made the label using Nestabilities. I sponged it lightly with the Distress Ink.
The brown rhinestones on the label and butterfly are Kaiser Kraft, but they were too light so I colored them with a Copic.
The Unity Butterfly image was heat embossed and cut out. I used a Copic to darken the image toward the middle.

Thank you for looking in!
Have an awesome day!

Card Patterns Sketch Card

I am making an effort to submit cards to more challenges. It helps me a lot, especially the sketch challenges. So here is my first card for the Card Patterns blog. There are lots of pics in this post because I love this card ;) I think it's the colors.

Here is the sketch.
I love Echo Park's For the Record paper. So retro and bright.
This little retro button is from my stash. No clue where it came from. And that giant rose is a sticker from a sheet that you can get to coordinate with the papers. Yummy!
The little row along the bottom is a rub on from Kaiser Craft. Cute!
The black polka dot paper is layered on a chipboard square that I painted to coordinate with the paper. I don't know about you, but I love polka dots, especially tiny ones like this ;)
And the little happiness ribbon is from Unity, of course, colored with Copics.
I hope you like it. And I hope you have an awesome day!!!
Thanks for stopping by! And Thanks for the Comments!!!
