So excited about this card! I thought I'd try the Etsy Inspired Challenge for the first time. I used THESE buttons for my inspiration. Great colors! I recently bought a few ;) kits Donna Downey had up in her shop, and the paper for the flowers was in one of the kits. Big circles. Perfect colors! I punched the circles and wet them with a spray bottle of water to soften the paper. Then I wrinkled them up and let them dry. I stacked them and held them together with a plain silver brad. I used these awesome gemstones in the middle. They were from a Christmas pack. I think I've used them on everything but Christmas.
The paper is from everywhere! The card base is Stampin' Up Certainly Celery, sponged with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink. The pink is Optimistic Designer Cardstock by Basic Grey. The peach is Cosmo Cricket Material Girl. The grid paper is October Afternoon Fly a Kite.
This card is also for Unity's Hip Hop Sketch Challenge #14. Love these sketches every week. "Love Blooms" is from Unity's April, 2010 Kit of the Month, Together We Bloom.
Thanks for checking out my card.
Have an awesome day!
