Love This Little Guy!

 I had to ink up this little guy, Bernie! He's so adorable, and so me ;)

He went to my boss! He was colored with Copics, with some glitter from Copic Spica pens. You can see in the picture below a little bit. 

You can also see I inlaid the image die cut. Love the look!

Christmas Ribbon Tree

Another Christmas card today! Not sure why, but I keep reaching for the Christmas paper and stamps. This is for the Unity WCMD Ribbon Challenge. Getting in under the wire ;)

The ornaments on the tree are Webster's Pages Sparklers. So sparkly in person! The presents are Grungeboard pieces that I sprayed with Peppermint Stick Glimmer Mist. I tied some red & white baker's twine on for ribbon. The ribbon is Wild Wasabi from SU. Love that color! The Merry & Bright is Unity from the Merry & Bright Winter Wishes set.

The paper is Imaginesce from last Christmas season. I loved it and bought a bunch. You'll be seeing more of it!

Postal Challenge - My First Christmas Card This Year

Still working on those Challenges from Unity for World Cardmaking Day!

This one is for the Going Postal Challenge, a card with a matching envelope.

I decided I should start on Christmas cards! I don't enjoy the whole assembly line style. Most of my cards are different. I make them and gather them over a couple of months.

I used Bright and Merry Winter Wishes from Unity. Love this set! It has great ornament stamps too! I realized the snowflake fits perfectly inside this Mat Stack 2 from Papertrey. The red mat behind the designer paper was made by tracing the shape from the die itself, then cutting it out. There is so much detail in this snowflake! I think I'll be using it a lot!

Wassail Away!

I love this paper! It's so homey and warm! This holly and berry paper is my fav. Pretty! I like the layout on this card so much that I kind of used it again. I left off the snowflake because I love this paper so much. I used my Stardust Gel Pen to go around the edge of the Spellbinders Labels Two die cut and on every group of holly berries on the paper. You can see that in the second pic. I love that pen and the shimmer it makes! Sorry about the blurriness of the first photo. My Picasa 3 program is being wierd tonight and every time I fix it and save it, it reverts back to blurry. Argh!!!! It's too late and I'm too tired to worry about it tonight. I was at my friend, Trudy's, when I made this card and didn't have any ribbon, so I cut a piece of paper from another sheet from the Wassail pack and put that down instead of ribbon. The brads are Basic Grey Wassail too. Love it!

More Sparkly Snowflakes!

A while back Anna Wight made some patterned paper and shared it with us here! It didn't print the way she intended, but I liked it so I went with it! I used her Snowman for Peace set for my card. I just love her snowman! His hat and scarf were colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with baby oil. They were stamped separately and mounted them on the snowman. I used my Nestabilities too. I glittered up my SU felt snowflake with Diamond Dust and topped it off with a pretty blue rhinestone.
