New Baby Quilt

As you may have seen, my baby sister had a little baby boy last week :) Here is a card for her and her husband.
I used the Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab World for the inspiration. Perfect timing!

The quilt was colored with Copics. The little blue ribbon was also. It wasn't quite the color I wanted. I added the little blades of grass with a Copic Multiliner, then went over it with a green Copic.
The designer paper used is Wild Asparagus from my stash.
Thank you for looking!
Have a phenomenal day!!!

Family Banner

I was looking for something to make, and I found these banner pieces that I found in Michaels sometime last year. Perfect! Just the right number to spell Family!

Here are some closeups.

I had nothing to spell out family. All of my chipboard letters are far too small, as are my stickers. I have no letter stamps big enough either. Soooo I printed them on regular copy paper and very carefully cut them out. After die cutting the shapes from paper from Echo Park's For the Record to mount them on, I adhered the letters using my Xyron. I was inspired by the My Minds Eye blue papers. Love the colors. I used flowers from Prima and Stampin' Up. The tiny little vintage style tag is from Stampin' Up also. The letter k is staped on it (for our last name). The ovals and die cuts were sponged with Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. The die cuts were cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities. The borders were punched using various punches. After assembling I laced some seam binding through to hook them all together to hang.

This was submitted for the Moxie Fab World's Home Decor Challenge. The deadline has passed, but there are some great projects that were submitted if you want some inspiration.

Thanks for looking! And have a great day!

Moxie Fab Card!

Every Tuesday over at Moxie Fab World Cath has a Tuesday Trigger. You use the trigger as inspiration. Here is this week's gorgeous trigger! I want this porch! I love the color combo too.

And here is my take on the Tuesday Trigger! I took the colors from the trigger, as well as the cozy home feeling. The rikrak and print are inspired by the apron. The lines of the tag are inspired by the lines of the rocking chair. I used Echo Park's For the Record! YUM! I so love this collection!!! Gorgeous! The teal paper is from Basic Grey, and the red is from Pink Paislee 365 Degrees. I sprayed two of the crocheted flowers with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
Play along with us! It's nice to have a little inspiration sometimes.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a phenominal day!

Unity Friends with Flair and Moxie Fab Card!

I love Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger! What inspiration! I used the colors, the roses, and the grungy background as my inspiration for this card below. It's a gorgeous picture! I hope you like the card too ;)

The paper is various Basic Grey, except for the gold print. I believe that's Pink Paislee's 365 Degrees. I wanted the background to be like the background in the trigger picture, so I sponged it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye. The ribbon was very light blue. Got it for a buck at Michaels a while back. I sponged it with SU Bermuda Bay to get it where I wanted it. The greeting is Unity, as is the print under the greeting. I popped that up on dimensionals.

For the rest of the list of "Friends With Flair," go to Unity's blog. You don't want to miss anything!

Have an awesome day, and a wonderful holiday weekend!
Edited to add: The flower is Prima, of course. I also went over the greeting with a black glaze pen very carefully to accentuate it a bit. Thanks for all of the great comments. I really appreciate them ;)
